Our Story
We are a local chapter of Indivisible, formed shortly before the 2025 presidential inauguration by a concerned citizen. Since then, we have grown exponentially. Join us!
Our Chapter Has Grown
Here are some examples of how we grew in 2025!
2600 people have joined our email list as of December 2025 - growing from 200 people from March 2025
6,000-7,000 attendees at the Newark location of national protest in October (No Kings) which grew from 2500 in April (Hands Off)
6 Leaders lead our chapter, up from just 1 in February 2025
75+ Volunteers take on additional work beyond attending events, growing from 0 in February 2025
Successful Efforts
Here are highlights of our successful activities in 2025!
13 different protests organized across multiple locations in and around Newark
1500 postcards written and sent by chapter members to PA voters for the November election
5 food drives held for the Food Bank of Delaware
Volunteers take on more - focused on rapid response protests, ICE, Avelo, social media, tech support, finances and more
Amazing guest speakers attended our events including Gov Matt Meyer, Rep. Mara Gorman, Rep. Cynthia Romer, Rep. Kendra Johnson, and Rep. Madinah Wilson-Anton
