Democracy isn't something we inherit—it's something we protect together.
The fight for voting rights didn't end with Selma or the Voting Rights Act, and it doesn't end today. Across the country, we are witnessing a coordinated effort to erode voting rights, silence communities, dismantle fair representation, and concentrate political power in the hands of a few.
But history reminds us that when ordinary people stand together, we can accomplish extraordinary things.
Six years after the passing of Congressman John Lewis, a civil rights leader who led the fight to protect voting rights, our community is coming together to make Good Trouble, build community, and continue the fight for a stronger democracy.
Together, our voices are powerful. Together, we move history.
